SHOULD!

I think that if I had the choice, I would eliminate the word ‘should’ from the English language! I catch myself, so often, throughout the day thinking, ‘I should do this or I should do that.’  Here are some examples:

I should be doing something (when I’m sitting)

I should be resting (when I’m on overload)

I should be helping someone

I should be reading, praying, exercising…

I should, I should, I should

It’s exhausting!

Should is a constricting word, should is a friend of guilt, should is often linked with ‘I’m not good enough.’ Should is a word that leads to bondage not freedom!

Let’s try to go an hour, a day, a lifetime without the word SHOULD!
