Once again…our friend anonymous gifts us with this wisdom:
He who kneels before God can stand before anyone.
~Author Unknown
I ask myself sometimes:
How did I ever do that? Where did I find the courage? Where did those words originate? How did I find the strength to get through that? How did I make it through that painful time?
The answer is in the quote above………We are never alone.
This is a wonderful quote! When we give God the credit for our achievements and keep our eyes on Him, we are blessed. 🙂
I agree with Jade and, in your case, Andie it was:
She who kneels before God can stand before anyone.
Bravo!
Anonymous is a wise and thoughtful soul, I see his/her quotes often 😉
yes. it is grace that brings us through… sometimes we can’t see it until we look back. i sometimes wonder if that is why the psalmist wrote “surely goodness and mercy will FOLLOW me all the days of my life.”
A nun quoted me this when we were discussing the falling out of fashion of genuflecting in church. She didn’t claim it for herself – so she’s not ‘Anonymous’! But it did strike a chord and I have found the physical action of bowing or genuflecting more meaningful since.

Never alone. Amen. Nothing more needs said.
No wonder I am so fond of quotes – this one is perfect. Thanks for posting it , Andie.
