What a time to get the flu! As if I wasn’t behind already….. And yet, what a gift (blessing). Who else has three days at this time of the year to stay in bed all day? Who wouldn’t love losing four pounds the week before Christmas?
Actually, I am very blessed because my family cared for me, I got a flu shot (so it could have been much worse) my friends called to check in, my co-workers worked extra hard and calmed my fears, and the threat of a snow storm encourage me to cancel our Children’s Christmas Pageant (well, that one had mixed feelings – love doing it but had no energy this year and would have infected those who probably infected me the week prior).
And….my blogging friends have not abandoned me! And so, back on track, had lots of things to think about….more to come.
Welcome Back Andie!
Glad you are feeling better, thought something must have been up.
I forget you are probably in the middle of winter!
Keep warm and hope you get ultra well!
Bless ya lots

I’m glad you’re feeling better! I stopped by here this morning, and thought maybe you’d gone away for the holidays? I guess sometimes life has a way of slowing us down like that, I’m glad you had a great support system 🙂
Thanks Joanne, yes, it’s the unexpected little ‘life surprises’ that sometimes slow us down. I’ll be visiting your blog today.
Glad you are better. Didn’t know what had happened.
Thank you Richard. I look forward to reading your new posts.
Like Richard, I did not know you had been under the weather. Glad you’re over it! And I am looking forward to reading your posts 🙂
Andie, glad to hear you’re feeling better! Though being sick is no fun, I know what you mean about the gift of rest it can bring if it’s not a really serious illness. Merry Christmas!
Ah, that explains it. I was wondering why you had gone quiet- I thought you had gone away for the holidays .
I really hope you are over the worst of it now and that you can regain your vigour and energy to enjoy Christmas.
Missed your posts and visits very much.
Merry Christmas to you and yours .
Blessings and Peace too
